WHY WOULD IT MATTER IF ANIMAL HABITAT WERE TO DISSAPEAR?

We should preserve the environment in which the animals live. If we reduce the amount of animal habitats, by driving many species to extinction, then we cannot expect the nature to provide us a place to fulfill our needs.

We often don't appreciate how much life on earth does for us.
